Encased, an isometric RPG set in a post-apocalyptic sci-fi universe, will be launching via Steam Early Access on September 26. The game, developed by Dark Crystal Games, takes inspiration from big-name classics such as the original two Fallouts, the Divinity: Original Sin series and Baldur’s Gate, just to name a few, and will give players relative freedom in how they wish to explore the game’s harsh world in order to survive. It also uses a traditional turn-based combat system, and instead of shackling its player to fixed classes, allows them to customize their characters with a rich repertoire of unique skills and attributes. The Early Access version of the title launching on September 26 will include the prologue and the entire first act of the adventure, which supposedly adds up to over 10 hours of gameplay.
