The devs said so themselves, so there you have it. Either way, there’s one thing that’s quite apparent about Amid Evil, aside from its love of all-caps words: it does seem an awful lot like Heretic, the classic 90s FPS from Raven Software. It will feature seven different episodes, plenty of weaponry to try out, and apparently the kind of enemy AI that will come and hunt you down without mercy – either way, I’ll let the actual game do the talking, so here’s the trailer:
